If the seat is back past the default point, it will not move. If the seat moves back everything is working. ![]() You can test whether the function is working properly for the seat by positioning your driver seat far forward, then exiting (or entering) the car normally. I do not know the measurement for this position. However, the driver's seat will move only if it has been set to a position that is positioned further forward than a default position chosen by Mercedes. ![]() So, the problem may be something else.įirst, with respect to "easy entry/exit" - the mirror (on your model) and steering wheel will move, and you indicate that they do. You may be correct, and I am sure that if your car does not have the memory controls in the front doors, you don't have memory seats. ![]() spec cars, all W220s I have seen have memory seats. I don't claim to know everything about European specification cars, but if your seats are moving to a position designated by a previous owner, you do have memory seats.
